On the floor, technicians use AgilityMobile to accept, suspend and complete work orders, fill in compliance checklists, capture fault codes, attach photos and documents, raise reactive requests, book out spare parts and scan asset QR codes to pull up work orders. That work happens in plant rooms, depots, food factories and tram sheds, where a consumer tablet with an exposed glass front, no 4G and a small battery is the wrong tool.

This page sets out what SSG Insight publishes about the app's requirements, which of the three Tuga devices fits those requirements and why, how to get the app running, and what we cannot confirm from the vendor's published material. We sell the hardware only. Agility licensing and configuration come from SSG Insight.

Requirements

What Agility CMMS/EAM and the AgilityMobile app needs from a device

Each item below comes from SSG Insight, part of Aptean's own listing or documentation, with the source linked.

  • Android app from Google Play

AgilityMobile is published on Google Play as 'Agility' by SSG Insight Ltd (package com.ssginsight.agility), version 2.2.3, updated 23 April 2026. The listing's 'Requires Android' value could not be confirmed when this page was written, so check the About this app section on Google Play on your own device before ordering in volume. The same app is on the Apple App Store with a minimum of iOS 16.0, but we sell Android and Windows devices only. Source: play.google.com

  • A licensed Agility 9 system

The Google Play description opens with 'REQUIRES A CONNECTION TO AN AGILITY9 SYSTEM. If you do not have a main Agility system contact SSG Insight to request a demo.' The app is of no use on its own; the tablet is a client for your existing Agility system. Source: play.google.com

  • Offline working

The App Store listing for the same app (version 2.2.3, bundle com.ssginsight.agility) lists 'Process jobs and raise new ones while offline' among its features, and SSG Insight's light rail page says passenger feedback can be gathered on mobile devices 'whether on or offline'. The Google Play description does not repeat the offline statement, so confirm the behaviour on your own Agility system before relying on it in areas with no signal. Source: apps.apple.com

  • In-app QR code and barcode scanning

SSG Insight's facilities management page says AgilityMobile users can 'scan asset QR codes to see work orders in seconds'. App Store release notes refer to a barcode reader on route sheet pages and to its handling when a user has denied camera permissions, which points to camera-based scanning. The vendor publishes no scanner hardware requirement. Source: ssginsight.com

  • Camera and storage for attachments

The AgilityMobile product page lists attaching images and documents to work orders, viewing asset repair history, manuals and diagrams, and completing compliance checklists. A usable rear camera and enough storage for manuals and photos matter in practice, although the vendor publishes no camera or storage figure. Source: ssginsight.com

  • Network connection for a cloud-hosted system and push notifications

Agility is offered cloud-hosted (Guernsey Water moved to the hosted version in 2020) and the AgilityMobile product page lists push notifications when new jobs arrive or a job status changes. Technicians moving between buildings or sites need Wi-Fi and, where Wi-Fi is patchy, mobile data. Source: ssginsight.com

  • Windows devices get the browser-based main system only

SSG Insight describes the main Agility system as browser-based: 'As a browser-based system, Agility can be securely accessed from any computer.' We found no Windows or Microsoft Store version of AgilityMobile, and no supported-browser list or Windows hardware requirement is published. A Windows tablet therefore runs the Agility web application in a browser and does not get the app's offline mode. Source: ssginsight.com

Devices

Which Tuga device fits Agility CMMS/EAM and the AgilityMobile app

Picked on the published requirements above and nothing else.

Our pick

Tuga A10 £449

AgilityMobile is an Android app, so the Tuga A10 is the natural choice for technicians. It runs Android 14, has a 10.1 inch FHD screen for work orders, checklists and diagrams, and is rated for the places Agility customers work: IP68, MIL-STD-810H and an operating range of -20 to 60C. The 13MP rear camera is what the app would use for QR code scanning (which depends on the app) and for photo attachments, 4G dual SIM keeps the cloud-hosted system and push notifications reachable away from Wi-Fi, and it has an 8000mAh battery. At £449 with no VAT to add, it is also the device an industrial asset-management firm already bought from us for maintenance technicians running a different mobile maintenance app at an aerospace manufacturer.

  • AgilityMobile is an Android app on Google Play: the A10 runs Android 14. Confirm the listing's minimum Android version on the device before a fleet order, since it could not be verified from the listing page.
  • In-app QR code and barcode scanning: 13MP rear camera with flash. There is no dedicated scan engine, so scanning works through the camera and depends on the app.
  • Attaching images and documents, viewing manuals and diagrams: 13MP rear camera, 10.1 inch FHD IPS 1920 x 1200 display at 350 nits, 128GB storage with microSD up to 2TB.
  • Cloud-hosted system and push notifications: 4G dual SIM and dual-band Wi-Fi 5, with Bluetooth 5.2 for headsets or a printer.
  • Plant rooms, depots and food factories: IP68, MIL-STD-810H, tempered glass, 8000mAh battery, operating temperature -20 to 60C, 680g with a hand strap in the box.
Alternative

Tuga A6 £299

Some Agility customers run the app on phones rather than tablets. Guernsey Water staff use it on their smartphones instead of carrying iPads and laptops as well. The Tuga A6 is a 6.78 inch rugged Android 14 handheld at £299 that fits a pocket or the £22 belt holster, so it suits engineers who walk sites all day, climb ladders or work with one hand. It trades screen area for 5G, a larger 10600mAh battery, a brighter 560 nit display and higher resolution cameras.

  • Android app: the A6 runs Android 14 with a 6.78 inch FHD+ 120Hz display at 560 nits.
  • In-app QR code scanning and photo attachments: 50MP main camera plus a 64MP night-vision camera. Scanning is through the camera and depends on the app.
  • Connection to a cloud-hosted system: 5G, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
  • Wash-down and outdoor areas: IP68 plus IP69K, MIL-STD-810H, Gorilla Glass 5, glove mode, 10600mAh battery with 33W fast charge, 441g.
Alternative

Tuga W10 £649

The W10 is not a device for AgilityMobile, because SSG Insight publishes no Windows version of the app. It is the pick where you want the browser-based Agility system on a rugged tablet, for example a supervisor allocating jobs and running dashboards from a workshop, a stores desk booking parts, or a fixed point on a line where a wired Ethernet connection and an HDMI output are useful. It runs Windows 11 Pro with a full desktop browser, so it accesses Agility the same way an office PC does, but without the app's offline mode.

  • Browser-based main Agility system, accessible 'from any computer': Windows 11 Pro on an Intel N100 up to 3.4GHz with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, running a full desktop browser.
  • Workshop and stores use: 100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet, HDMI for a larger screen, USB-A and USB-C, and a pogo pin dock connector for the £49.99 charging dock.
  • Mobile use where needed: dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 and optional 4G LTE, with a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 multi-touch display and a removable 5000mAh battery.
  • Protection: IP65, dust tight and protected against water jets, but not rated for immersion, so it is for dry and splash areas rather than wash-down.
Setting up

Getting Agility CMMS/EAM and the AgilityMobile app running

  1. Confirm with your Agility administrator or SSG Insight that your organisation runs an Agility 9 system with mobile licensing, and that each technician has a user account. The app requires a connection to an Agility 9 system and does nothing without one.
  2. On the Tuga A10 or A6, sign in to Google Play with your organisation's Google account or a managed device account, search for 'Agility' by SSG Insight Ltd and install it. While on the listing, check the 'Requires Android' figure under About this app; both Tuga devices run Android 14.
  3. Open the app and sign in with the system details and user account your Agility administrator gives you. Grant the camera permission when Android asks so in-app QR code scanning and photo attachments work.
  4. Ask your Agility administrator or SSG Insight how offline working is configured on your system, then test it on one unit by completing a job with Wi-Fi and mobile data switched off and reconnecting afterwards, before you issue devices to the team.
  5. Fit the hand strap supplied in the A10 box, apply a tempered glass screen protector, and if the device lives in a van or on a maintenance cart, fit the vehicle mounting dock. For shared devices, add a charging dock at the workshop or handover point.
  6. Order a single trial unit first. We welcome one-unit trials before a fleet order, and multi-unit discounts apply automatically from two units when you place the main order.

Questions

Agility CMMS/EAM and the AgilityMobile app on a Tuga device

AgilityMobile is published on Google Play as 'Agility' by SSG Insight Ltd, version 2.2.3 as of April 2026, and the Tuga A10 runs Android 14. The listing's minimum Android version could not be confirmed from the listing page when we wrote this, so check 'Requires Android' under About this app before a fleet order. The app requires a connection to an Agility 9 system, so you need an existing Agility licence. Tuga Hardware has no certification or testing arrangement with SSG Insight; we are stating the published requirement and the device's operating system.

SSG Insight's App Store listing for the same app (bundle com.ssginsight.agility, version 2.2.3) lists 'Process jobs and raise new ones while offline', and its light rail page refers to gathering passenger feedback on mobile devices whether on or offline. The Google Play description does not repeat this, so test it on your own system during a trial. The offline statement applies to the app, which runs on Android, so it concerns the A10 and A6. The W10 runs the browser-based main system only and does not get the app's offline mode.

Yes to both. A single trial unit before a fleet order is welcome. Business buyers can request a quote and pay by bank transfer on a proforma invoice. Tuga Hardware is not VAT registered, so the prices shown (A10 £449, A6 £299, W10 £649) have no VAT to add. Delivery is free within the UK in 7 to 10 working days, UK only, with 30-day returns and a 12-month warranty. Multi-unit discounts apply automatically: 3% at 2 units, 5% at 3 to 4, 8% at 5 to 9 and 10% at 10 or more.

SSG Insight publishes no screen-size guidance for AgilityMobile, and its customers use both form factors: Guernsey Water staff run the app on their smartphones, Keolis Amey Metrolink planned tablets for operational and maintenance staff, and the App Store says the iOS version is designed for iPad. Choose the A10 (10.1 inch FHD, 8000mAh, 4G, £449) where technicians read diagrams and manuals, fill in longer checklists, or dock the device in a vehicle. Choose the A6 (6.78 inch FHD+, 10600mAh, 5G, 441g, £299) where a pocketable handheld, one-handed use, a brighter screen or a higher resolution camera matters more than screen area. A trial unit of each is a sensible way to settle it.

Trial one unit before you kit out the team.

Order a single Tuga A10 at £449, no VAT to add, with 30 days to send it back if it is not right. Business quotes and proforma invoices on request.
