Register your device
Every device has a 12-month warranty whether you register or not. Registering ties the serial number to you, so if something goes wrong a claim is one email rather than a hunt for the receipt.
Finding the serial number
- On the label on the box, next to the barcode
- Android: Settings, About tablet (or About phone), Status, Serial number
- Windows: Settings, System, About, or run
